Greyhound Box have been accredited to the BS EN ISO 9001:200 Quality Standards.
The main Focus of Greyhounds' activities continues to be 'Quality at Speed' with our aim to be the premier fast turnaround boxmaker in the North of England'. We have taken a big step closer to that dream in recent years by increasing continual investment in:
- 'Fast Turnaround manufacturing'
- 'Stock and call off' (New Energy efficient trucks).
(In Both these areas same-day/next-day deliveries are a must for our customers).
PROTECTING OUR ENVIRONMENT
We believe in protecting our environment for our children and our Children's Children's future. We manufacture a product that is totally bio degradable and recyclable. If in a worst case scenario a Greyhound box was placed in a ditch by the side of the road - within a matter of a few weeks it would break down and feed the ground it was laid upon, actually forming a compost! If alternatively that box was recycled into paper it would come back to us as board ready to be made into another box. So, apart from the electricity used to run our machines everything is very green and environmentally friendly. To support that we have a strong minimal waste and complete recycling policy such that waste is measured and waste reduction is a KPI (Key Performance Indicator) for the production department. Even in the offices we do our part by having 2 bins per person, one deisgnated for paper recycling. We also are working towards achieving the Environmental 14001 accreditation standards.
